This vessel works more than one stretch of the river. The direction changes the order of the temples, the number of nights and which city you fly out of.

Accessibility
Who can join this
The vessel and shore excursions require moderate mobility. Embarkation and disembarkation involve steps and a gangway, often uneven; staff provide handrails but assistance may be limited at smaller river ports. Onboard public areas include stairs between decks; some cabins have one or two steps at the entrance. Shore excursions visit ancient sites with cobbled paths, uneven stone, steep temple steps, and sandy banks. Wheelchair users should note that most river ports and archaeological sites do not have full ramp access, and ship lifts are uncommon. We arrange crew assistance at embarkation and transfers where possible, and we can book ground vehicles with wheelchair access on request. Please tell us about mobility needs when you book so we can advise on feasibility and on-board cabin placement.

How we travel here
We arrange the cruise with locally based cruise lines that operate diesel and low-sulfur marine engines standard for Nile river vessels; shore transfers are in modern air-conditioned minibuses. We contract local Egyptologists and guides directly, and shore-excursion fees and guide payments go to named local suppliers in Luxor and Aswan. Fresh produce and staff catering are sourced from nearby markets, supporting small vendors in both cities. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and include guidance for guests on low-impact behavior at archaeological sites, such as staying on designated paths and not touching carvings. Where available, we can arrange carbon-offset options at booking and prioritize partners that follow local waste separation and water-conservation practices on board.

Jaz Elite Senator Nile Cruise
The cruise sails between Luxor and Aswan, calling at Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae. The Jaz Elite Senator is an all-suite Nile vessel offering full-board dining and guided excursions. An English-speaking Egyptologist leads small-group visits, limited to a maximum of eight guests per guide. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and arrange meet-and-assist services, private deluxe air-conditioned transfers and the on-the-ground excursions listed. MayFair Nile Cruise
Board the MayFair Nile Cruise for a five-star voyage along the Nile, sailing from Luxor to Aswan. It sails from Luxor to Aswan. The cruise follows the river corridor where Karnak, Luxor West Bank, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae are the classic stops along this stretch. We arrange guided visits, local transfers and Egyptologists to join you at the sites. We arrange private guided visits rather than large coach tours, which keeps group sizes smaller and timings more flexible. Unlike day trips run from Luxor, a multi-day cruise moves you between sites instead of returning each evening to one base. Evenings are typically spent on deck, watching river life and hearing short briefings from your Egyptologist. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and coordinate embarkation in Luxor and disembarkation in Aswan.
