What a private transfer actually is
The first hour in a country sets the tone for the trip. Cairo airport at 2am, after a ten-hour flight, is not where you want to be learning the going rate to your hotel. A private transfer removes the whole negotiation: a named driver is already waiting past the baggage hall, holding a board with your name, in a car whose price was agreed before you left home.
We run transfers in the six cities most trips actually use – Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam – with drivers our offices know by name. The driver watches your flight, so an early landing or a three-hour delay changes nothing: someone is there when you walk out. It's the least glamorous part of a trip and the one that goes wrong most often, which is exactly why we don't hand it to a rank outside the terminal.

Aswan to Hurghada Private Transfer | 7 Hours | Discovery Tours
Travel by private vehicle from your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise to Hurghada with a one-way intercity transfer arranged by a licensed Egyptian tour operator. The journey takes approximately seven hours, depending on road conditions, stops and the exact pickup and drop-off points. A transfer representative is included to assist with the journey, and luggage is covered in the service. Unlike a shared coach transfer, a private vehicle is reserved for your party. This service operates daily and connects Upper Egypt with the Red Sea coast without adding a sightseeing programme. Please confirm your preferred pickup time and the name of your accommodation or cruise before travel.
Cairo Airport (CAI) to Giza (Cairo) Hotel Arrival Transfer
Aswan Hotel & Nile Cruise to Aswan Airport Transfer
Private transfer from your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise to Aswan International Airport (ASW), with meet-and-greet and luggage assistance. We do not run shared coach transfers; each booking receives a private, air-conditioned saloon or minivan. Typical drive time from the Nile quayside is 20–30 minutes; allow extra time for peak-season traffic. We recommend arriving at Aswan Airport at least 90 minutes before domestic flights and two hours before international departures. Smaller saloons take two standard suitcases; request a minivan for three-plus large cases or for groups. Gratuities for drivers are not included. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we arrange the vehicle, driver and meet-and-greet.
Hurghada to Luxor Transfer (Private Vehicle)
Private transfer from Hurghada to Luxor by air‑conditioned vehicle, approximately 290 km and 3.5–4 hours on the desert highway. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we arrange door-to-door pickup from hotels and the port, with an English-speaking driver. We do not run group coach transfers; we use private cars so you control departure time, comfort stops and luggage handling. Scheduled domestic flights take about 50 minutes but add check-in time and luggage rules – we can quote flights on request. Road transfers involve long stretches without shade and basic roadside facilities; expect one short comfort stop en route.
Hotel to Sharm El Sheikh International Airport Transfer
Private, door-to-door transfers between Sharm El Sheikh hotels and Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, with meet-and-greet and fixed prices. Typical transfer time is 20–30 minutes depending on hotel location and traffic. We use private sedans and MPVs and do not operate large shared shuttle buses. Our drivers monitor flight status, wait if your flight is delayed, and meet you in the hotel lobby with a name-board. Unlike shared shuttle services, you travel directly to the terminal without extra stops. Allow extra time for airport security and peak-hour traffic; gratuities and oversized-luggage handling are extra. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator.
Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Hotel Transfer
We provide private and shared transfers between Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH) and all Sharm hotels. Typical transfer times are 15–40 minutes, depending on hotel location and local traffic. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and operate private cars as our standard; shared shuttles are available on request but are less convenient for guests arriving late. Your driver meets you at arrivals holding a name-board, assists with luggage and drives in an air-conditioned vehicle. We monitor flight times for delays and update pickup accordingly. Passport-control queues after busy flights can add 30–60 minutes to your door-to-door time.
Luxor to Aswan Private Hotel Transfer
Private door‑to‑door transfer from a Luxor hotel to an Aswan hotel by air‑conditioned car. The drive between central Luxor and central Aswan is about 220 kilometres and takes roughly 3.5–4 hours without stops. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and provide a dedicated driver and meet‑and‑greet at your hotel; we do not run shared coaches. Unlike the overnight sleeper train, a private car keeps your luggage with you and allows optional Egyptologist‑led stops at Edfu (Temple of Horus) and Kom Ombo (Sobek and Horus) en route. Trade‑offs: the route is exposed to heat and dust; an early departure is usually more comfortable.
Private transfer – Luxor cruise or hotel to Luxor Downtown
We provide private transfers from Luxor cruise docks or hotels to any hotel in Luxor downtown. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator. We do not combine passengers from different cruise boats or run shared minibuses; every booking gets a dedicated vehicle and driver. Our drivers meet you with a name board, help with luggage and drive in air-conditioned saloons or minibuses. Narrow downtown streets or cruise-boat gangways can require a short walk from the vehicle. If you have oversized luggage, tell us in advance so we allocate a larger vehicle.
Luxor to Hurghada Private Transfer
Travel by private, air-conditioned vehicle from Luxor to Hurghada in around four hours with door-to-door collection and an English-speaking driver. We do not run shared shuttle buses; every booking is a private transfer organised from our Luxor office. Unlike scheduled coaches, you choose the pick-up time and we tailor stops to your needs. The route runs mostly along the Red Sea highway with limited shade; the journey can feel long for travellers sensitive to extended road travel. We supply sedans, SUVs or minivans and can carry standard luggage; oversized items may require a second vehicle.

01How much is an airport transfer in Egypt?+
Less than the uncertainty of sorting it on arrival. Fares are fixed and quoted up front for the whole car, not per person – a Cairo airport-to-hotel transfer is a small fraction of a day's touring, and you know the figure before you fly. Send us your route and we'll price it exactly.
02What happens if my flight is delayed?+
Nothing changes for you. We track your flight from the moment you book, so the driver's timing follows the plane – early, late or diverted. You won't pay extra for a delay that isn't your fault, and someone is still holding your name when you walk out.
03Will the driver meet me inside the airport?+
Yes. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, past passport control and baggage claim, holding a board with your name. It's a proper meet-and-greet, not a kerbside pickup or a pin dropped on a map.
04Are your drivers English-speaking?+
Our airport drivers speak working English – enough to greet you, confirm your hotel and handle the basics. They're vetted by the local office, drive licensed air-conditioned cars, and know the city rather than just following a sat-nav.
05Can you do transfers between cities or to a Nile cruise?+
Yes. As well as airport runs we cover hotel-to-hotel, hotel-to-cruise-dock and resort-to-resort transfers – Luxor airport straight to your ship's gangway, or Hurghada across to a Nile cruise port. Tell us the two points and we'll fix the fare.
06Do you have child seats and larger vehicles?+
Both. Child and booster seats are free on request – just tell us the ages. For families and groups we send a minivan or a small coach instead of a sedan, priced the same fixed way, so the whole party and the luggage travel together.
