Children under two travel free when sharing a seat with an adult; children aged two to 11 are usually offered a reduced child rate, while guests 12 and over pay the adult price. Strollers are usable within parts of the Grand Egyptian Museum but are difficult on the Giza Plateau where compacted sand and steps are present.
